Emergency Track Maintenance – Waratah, NSW – 28 June to 29 June 2026

We will be carrying out emergency track work in Waratah, NSW, to maintain a safe and reliable rail network.
The work is scheduled to occur from 10:00pm Sunday 28 June to 4:00am Monday 29 June, weather permitting.
We will be working continuously during this time. We’re committed to reducing the impacts of noise, dust and light from our works wherever possible, including limiting the number of machines operating at any one time.
You may have noticed we have already begun minor preparation works and material deliveries. Site clean-up may continue during standard construction hours after the work is complete.
