Jonathan is ARTC’s Group Executive Hunter Valley Network, with responsibility for:
- Commercial and operational performance of the Hunter Valley business unit
- Customer service and business development
- Asset management
- Compliance and safety
Prior to joining ARTC, he was Executive General Manager of Infrastructure for Whitehaven Coal.
In the ten years before Whitehaven, Jonathan played a key role in developing NSW’s coal infrastructure network.
During his five years as founding Chief Executive Officer of the Hunter Valley Coal Chain Coordinator (HVCCC) it became internationally recognised for its world-leading model of supply chain management.
As Chief Financial Officer at Port Waratah Coal Services Limited, Jonathan established a $A1 billion financing package and the commercial framework to underpin the terminal and coal chain infrastructure expansion across the Hunter Valley. He has also worked at Peabody and Rio Tinto in the Hunter Valley and Central Queensland.
