Rail Maintenance- Schnapper Beach Rd Level Crossing

June 7 - June 11

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) will be carrying out essential track maintenance at the Schnapper Beach Road level crossing. We will be working from 4:00pm to 7:00am from Friday 7 June to Tuesday 11 June.

The Schnapper Beach Road level crossing will be closed for the duration of this work. ARTC will make contact with members of the community affected by this temporary road closure. If you are affected by this temporary road closure and would like to discuss further, please contact Enviroline.

How could this work affect you?
There will be traffic impacts, it will be noisy at times, and some dust may be generated. Please be assured that we will implement measures to manage and minimise these impacts on the community where
possible.

The Schnapper Beach Road level crossing will be closed. Traffic control and signage will direct road traffic and pedestrians away from the level crossing. There will be controlled/escorted pedestrian crossing opportunities.  In case of emergency please call 000 and the team will assist access for all emergency vehicles.

We will turn off machinery when not in use, arrange work in stages and/or phase the equipment used at one time to reduce noise impacts where possible. The movement of materials and machinery on site may result in the generation of dust. We will take practical measures to reduce the amount of dust produced by our works where possible.

For more information please contact ARTC’s Enviroline on 1300 550 402 or enviroline@artc.com.au
