Track work – Telarah NSW to Acacia Ridge QLD

We will be completing around the clock rail grinding, resurfacing and welding work on the north coast line at various locations between Telarah NSW and Acacia Ridge QLD commencing 6:00pm Friday 16 September and continuing through until 1:00am Monday 26 September 2022. This work will be completed in periods when fewer trains operate allowing the work to be undertaken safely and efficiently, meaning that there will be some late-night and overnight work.

We will begin mobilising to site and carrying out minor preparation work in the days and weeks prior to the work commencing and there will be post work site clean-up.  All preparation and clean-up work will be completed during standard working hours.

There may be some traffic impacts, it will be noisy at times, light towers will be used for any night works, and some dust may be generated. Please be assured that we will implement measures to manage and minimise these impacts on the community where possible.

We will be working hard to minimise any disruptions this work may cause, and we appreciate your patience and understanding while this important work is completed.
