The Federal Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Darren Chester and the Federal Member for Grey, Rowan Ramsey have announced the first 10,000 tonnes of rail track has been delivered to outback South Australian locations in preparation for laying down new track for the crucial east-west Adelaide – Tarcoola Rail Upgrade Acceleration project.
An estimated 130 jobs will be created over the life of the project, with the Australian Government fully funding the $252 million project
