Rail Bridge Maintenance Work- Boambee Creek Bridge

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) will be carrying out essential maintenance works of the Boambee Creek Bridge, commencing from Monday 12th February 2024. Railway bridge works are expected to run until July 2024. This work will be completed between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm weekdays.
To facilitate this maintenance works the Boambee Creek pedestrian bridge and walkway between Boambee Headland carpark and Boambee Bay reserve will be closed on weekdays between 6:00am and 6:00pm.
Access to Boambee Bay Reserve from the Headland Car park is still available from Sawtell Road.
The maintenance work will involve the use of machinery, vehicles and plant which will generate some noise. We will turn off machinery when not in use, arrange work in stages and/or phase the equipment used at one time to reduce noise impacts where possible.
The movement of materials and machinery on site may result in the generation of dust. We will take practical measures to reduce the amount of dust produced by our work where possible.
