Track machine maintenance: Boggabri, Narrabri and Bobbiwaa

ARTC continually operates track machines across the network to improve track conditions and allow safer, more reliable, and quieter rail operations.
With track mainenance occurring in the area, track machines will be stabled for maintenance at Boggabri, Narrabri and Bobbiwaa from 6:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 March 2024.
While this maintenance is being completed the engine will continue running to power the required equipment. This allows us to check that all the components of the machine are operating correctly. To mitigate noise, we will stable away from homes and buildings where possible.
We will be working hard to minimise any disruptions this work may cause, and we appreciate your patience and understanding while this important work is completed.
